Odd Kate Middleton Clothing Changes

Odd Kate Middleton Clothing Changes
We have to question the odd number of Kate Middleton’s planned clothing changes on Christmas Day at Sandringham when she’s visiting the Queen and the whole royal family.  The Daily Mail reports that Kate told a guest at the Imperial War Museum charity gala last weekend  that she’ll have to change clothes five times on Christmas Day.  Five is an odd number and not just numerically speaking.
The DM quoted Grazia magazine:  “Royal etiquette expert Jean Broke-Smith [said] ‘’Kate will need a casual outfit for breakfast, a smart outfit and a hat  for the morning church service, a dress for lunch, a cocktail dress for early evening drinks and a full-length dress for the evening meal.  The golden rule is nothing too short, too revealing or too gaudy.’”
Only five outfits?  How about the silk pajamas or long woolen nightie she’ll put on at the end of the evening?  Or will Kate break out the Victoria’s Secret in an effort to keep Wills at the ready, so to speak?  It sure doesn’t add up unless she plans to wear the full-length evening dress to bed. Or are we to assume that passion still reigns and the evening dress will be removed by Wills…?  Well, let’s not go there.
We don’t think Kate will sleep au naturel in that drafty castle!  The long johns will get pulled on at some point, probably with a nightshirt over them and a little woolen cap to keep out the chill.  And that will be SIX changes of clothes, thank you very much.
Probs Kate Middleton was just embarrassed to mention the last of her odd clothing changes and also afraid the guest would blab to her pals:  “Kate’s going glam over there–silver lace pajama bottoms with tiny jingle bells and a naughty “nip-slip” pajama top!”
How say you on Kate Middleton’s odd clothing changes?  A bit much or just right?
