3 Tips to Help You Save a Little Coin This Holiday $eason
It's that time of year again. You're worrying about holiday shopping and how you'll pay for it so much that you're going to have diarrhea every night until Christmas is finally freaking over.
Don't stress, though. Because we have three tips to help you save some $ $ $ this holiday season. You're welcome.
(1) Dollar stores: Don't stick your noses up and underestimate the goodies that you can find at dollar stores! They often have great stocking stuffers (in addition to some other cool little gifts for the kiddies) and will undoubtedly carry scissors, tape, wrapping paper, ribbon, and bows for CHEAP. It's the same stuff you'd find anywhere for much less. Big Lots is also a great store to save at. See if you have one in your area and go crazy. Just avoid the toothless man sniffing the carpet cleaner. He's not well.
(2) Coupons: Sure it takes a little effort. Start digging through your newspapers and magazines and surf the Internet for money-saving finds, though, and you'll be SUPER happy when you end up cutting your bill in HALF. Plus, all of your friends will think you're totally cool when you tell them that you have a coupon folder. As long as your friends are huge dweebs too.
(3) Set a limit: Are you looking to buy smaller gifts for your relatives but are worried they'll spend a ton more dough on you? Set a limit! Work it out with the family so that you'll all spend no more than $ 20, $ 50, whatever, on each other. That way, you won't feel awkward opening up the Rolex Uncle Tom bought you right after giving him a box of toothpicks.
Get busy!
