Tom Cruise Will ACE New Film Role Despite Being Four Feet Tall

Tom Cruise

Never one to pass up the opportunity to make fun of Tom Cruise’s tiny stature, I read about this on E! Online and couldn’t resist passing it on.

Apparently he’s slated to play a character that is nearly a foot taller than him in the screen adaptation of the book One Shot. Upon hearing that he was cast, fans were in an uproar over the height difference, arguing that he wasn’t anything like the character they’ve all come to know in the book.

Bahahahahahha!

Tom told Empire, though, that he’s “very sensitive” to their reaction, probably because no one likes it when people point out the fact that they’re a shrimp.

But hold on now. Cruise went on to say that he had the author’s blessing and that if he hadn’t, he wouldn’t have accepted the role.

Yeah, like any author is going to be like, “No. Tom Cruise isn’t good enough.” Pft! The author has said in the past that “talent and screen presence” are much more important than looks.

He’s right…to an extent. Can you imagine casting a 400-pound man with one leg as Edward Cullen just because he was really talented? No, probably not.

Regardless, you know Tom is gonna rock it. This ain’t his first film, people. Dude’s got major skill in front of the camera. He knows what he’s doing!
